![]() ![]() No refunds I want to ensure I can get the elbows into the bulk heads etc. Just want to make sure I don't get something that I can't get hooked up and working. Reef Central Online Community > General Interest Forums > Do It Yourself: BeanAnimal Overflow box. Bulk head holes would be 4 inches from the right side and then a hole width apart (1 1/2") and the top of the hole will be 1 1/2" down from the underside of the top bracing.Īnyone have similar dimension and have implemented a bean animal with 1 1/2 bulk heads? I think the size is the smallest I can have it - if someone has gone smaller please chime in. In essence, the overflow will be 4.5 inches (front to back) and 5 inches tall (deep). So, that said, I put together this rough sketch (not to scale). I had to do some modifications to make the dual corner overflows work ala bean animal style but what I did has worked for me just fine. I'm not doing anything exotic, just implementing the bean animal overflow. I have a true bean animal system in my dual corner overflow display total space occupied is roughly 12'圆' (less if you use rounded corner overflows. The builder has asked me to spec the size of the over flow dimensions and holes. I am having a 6 foot tank build and will have an overflow that is 48 inches (so, 1 foot away from the sides of the tank). I know what I want but don't know the dimensions I need and would like to ensure its going to work. I tried to do a bean animal w/ 1. Hopefully someone can help as the build is delayed until i can get clarification. Ive got the 1600gph one but on a 90g tank, its the look I was going for. Hello - i posted this over in the diy forums but didnt get a response. ![]()
